Serve this recipe with a tossed salad and potatoes for a complete meal!

 Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 slices bacon
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
  • 4 to 6 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh cilantro

Preheat oven to 375°.

Grease baking dish and set aside. Fry bacon untilalmost crisp. Remove to paper towels to drain.

In ashallow dish, combine seasoned salt, pepper, garlicpowder, chili powder and flour.

Dredge chicken inflour mixture to coat thoroughly.

In a large skillet overmedium heat melt butter, olive oil and garlic and sautéchicken until through, about 5 minutes on each side.

Arrange chicken breasts in baking dish. Spreadbarbecue sauce over the chicken, top with two slicesand slice of pepper jack cheese.

Bake chicken for about5 to 6 minutes, until cheese is melted. Garnish with cilantro before serving.
