Try this appetizer with warmed tortillas or toasted French bread.
3 Tbsp. olive oil
1 1/2 lbs. broccoli, heads cut into 1-inch florets
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. ground coriander
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup cream
1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
French bread or warm tortillas for serving
In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Add broccoli. Cook for 5 minutes over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until broccoli is browned. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in coriander, chili powder, cumin and oregano. Season with salt and cook for 1 minute. Add cream and cook for about 3 minutes, until broccoli is tender and heated through. Add half the cheeses and stir.
Transfer mixture to a prepared baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Broil for 5 to 6 minutes or until cheese is melted and browned. Serve with bread or tortillas.
