Italian Sausage and Noodles
This recipe calls for Sparkle Market’s new pasta sauce!

2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. sausage
1 onion, quartered and sliced thinly
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 orange bell pepper, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup white wine
1 (24 oz.) jar Sparkle Brilliante traditional sauce
2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
8 oz. Pappardelle noodles, uncooked
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Add olive oil to a large pot over medium-high heat. Add sausage, allowing it to brown. Once browned, remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Add onion and cook for about 5 minutes. Stir in salt, Italian seasoning and pepper. Add bell peppers and sauté for about 2 minutes, until tender. Add garlic and wine. Allow wine to cook until almost completely reduced. Add in sauce and sausage. Stir until well combined; let simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes. Add parsley and basil.

Prepare noodles according to package directions. Drain and combine with sauce mixture. Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
