Peppermint Chocolate Dessert

If you like candy canes you’ll love this sweet treat!


  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs, divided
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
  • 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 8 oz. whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows Directions


Sprinkle 1/2 cup crumbs evenly on the bottom of a clear bowl. Beat butter and cream cheese with sugar and chocolate in a bowl until fluffy. Fold in nuts and carefully spoon over crumbs in the bowl. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over the chocolate layer.

In a separate bowl, combine whipped topping, peppermint candies and mini marshmallows. Spoon over crumbs and spread evenly to the sides of the bowl. Refrigerate for 12 hours or overnight before serving. Garnish with shaved chocolate and peppermint.
