Salmon Burgers

Another great recipe featuring Gia Russa Sauce!


  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 jar Gia Russa Red Pepper Spread
  • 1 jar Gia Russa red and yellow roasted peppers, drained and diced
  • 3/4 cup Gia Russa seasoned panko bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. Gia Russa chopped garlic
  • 2 lbs. salmon fillets, skinned and finely chopped
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 8 buttered and toasted sandwich buns
  • 8 lettuce leaves
  • 8 slices tomato
  • 8 slices red onion

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and red pepper spread. Cover and chill. In a medium bowl, combine peppers, panko, garlic, and salmon. In a small bowl, combine egg, soy sauce, lemon juice, and salt; add to pepper mixture, tossing gently to combine. Form mixture into 8 patties.

Lightly coat skillet with cooking spray. Grill or cook patties on medium heat, 5 minutes per side, or until desired degree of doneness. Spread red pepper mayonnaise evenly over toasted buns. Top each with a lettuce leaf, tomato slice and red onion and place salmon patty on bottom bun. Serve immediately.
