Vinegar – Adding just a small amount of vinegar to your daily meals can really help you slim down. The acetic acid helps slow the passage of food from the stomach to the small intestine, so your tummy stays fuller longer.

Tofu – It may seem like a light treat, but it is actually an appetite-squashing protein. People who eat tofu as an appetizer often eat less of a meal.

Nuts – Although they are high in calories and fat, people who snack on nuts tend to be slimmer than those who don’t. Some nuts such as walnuts and almonds contain omega 3 fatty acids, which help reduce the risk of heart disease.

High-fiber Cereal – By loading up on fiber, your body feels more full. This helps prevent you from overeating at later meals. Try to find cereals that have at least 10g per serving.

Hot Red Pepper – Eating something spicy for one meal has been known to help you eat less for the next meal. Hot red pepper contains capsaicin, which helps suppress appetite.
